NYCβs only vegan Vietnamese restaurant! Located in the Lower Eat Side, just steps from Chinatown
Sen Saigon is a plant-based Vietnamese restaurant rooted in memory, tradition, and care. Led by An Nguyen Hawks, a Vietnam-born chef, our cooking reimagines classic Vietnamese dishes through a plant-based lensβfamiliar favorites like phα» and bΓ‘nh mΓ¬, alongside lesser-known regional specialties. Every dish is made with intention, bold flavor, and deep respect for Vietnamese food culture. Sen Saigon has been recognized by T Magazine, Eater, Hell Gate, and Time Out New York.

New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around New York is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The food was excellent. We got the pork bahn mi, lotus root salad, summer special noodle bowl, chia lemon drink and corn pudding dessert. Everything was super flavorful and the portions were filling. Service was very friendly and polite. What a gem! Highly recommend this place.

There are a few tables for dine in and the restaurant was packed when I came. Despite how busy it was, we got our food in 15 minutes. Ordered the stir fried pho, bun huΓͺ, and flan for dessert. You can really taste the dedication and effort put into every dish. The herbs and vegetables were fresh, the textures and flavors were varied and well balanced. This was one of my top five meals in New York. Truly extraordinary. Highly highly recommend the stir fried pho.

The vegan pork belly banh mi sandwich is genuine sorcery. Inside the sandwich in particular the vegan pork belly has amazing depth of texture Iβve never experienced in faux meat substitutes. The bread is also delightfully crispy on the outside and pillowy on the inside. We got normal/extra spicy level which made the sandwich quite delicious.

I had this restaurant on my list for a long time. Finally decided to give it a try. The restaurant is really small. I dont think they take reservations. We arrived and luckily there was an empty table. You will have to go to the counter to place an order. They have tea & coffee already ready in a bottle. We ordered a pho and ban mi sandwich. The pho tasted delicious with good quantity of food. The mushrooms were crunchy. The ban mi sandwich was delicious and bit spicy. Had a good taste to it. The staff was friendly and answered the questions I had. The restaurant menu is fully vegetarian. I would definitely recommend this place.
